Music plays an important role at any worship service. It seems even more so at St. Andrew, where the congregation truly supports and appreciates its music department.
Congregational music is the backbone of any church service, and a St. Andrew we’re blessed to have a singing congregation. Our guests and visitors are always pleasantly surprised to discover that this congregation actively participates in the singing of hymns. It’s the singing of these hymns that makes the worship service come alive.
St. Andrew is truly blessed to have such a wonderful group of volunteers committed to presenting special music during worship week after week. With an average attendance of 17 we have a choir that even many larger churches envy. We strive to present a wide variety of choral anthems throughout the year. For that reason you will find that the choral anthems have no one particular style. One week you may hear a traditional hymn, another week a classical era anthem, and another week a contemporary original work.
